What this website collects, why, and who sees it.

Who we are
Careful Cleanouts is a house and estate cleanout business based in West Chester, PA. The legal name of the business is Careful Cleanouts LLC.
What the quote form collects
When you use the quote form, you give us your name, email address, mobile phone number, town or ZIP code, and whether you are a homeowner, executor, realtor or landlord. You also choose whether we should text you or call you. You can attach photos of the house and add a note. Photos and notes are optional. The request we receive also shows which page you sent it from and when. We do not ask for your street address or payment details.
Please keep people, documents and personal papers out of any photos you send, and do not put Social Security numbers, bank details or passwords in the note.
Why we collect it
We use it to answer your request, set up a walkthrough and give you a written price. We do not use it for anything else.
Where it goes
Form submissions are sent by email to the business owner at quotes@carefulcleanouts.com. A submission is not saved in a database or as a file on the website, and photos you attach arrive in that same email. To block spam, the form checks a hidden field and how long it was open. To limit repeat submissions, the server keeps a short count of recent submissions tied to a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, and it only counts the past hour. Our hosting provider, GoDaddy, also keeps standard server logs of visits, which typically include your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share it only with the email and hosting providers that carry it to us, and with Google for analytics as described below. We may also share it if the law requires us to.
Calls and texts
If you call or text us, your number is stored in the owner's phone. If you choose "Text me" on the form, you are asking us to text you about your request.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and to see which pages lead to a quote request. It is always on. It records the pages you view, how far down a page you scroll, which links to other websites you click, roughly where you are, your device and browser type, and whether you tapped a phone number, tapped an email address, or started or sent the quote form. It does not record what you type into the form. Google receives your IP address when the analytics script loads. We keep analytics data for 14 months. Google explains how it handles information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga followed by an ID, to tell one visit from another. We have turned off Google's advertising features, including Google signals, and we do not use advertising cookies or advertising trackers. The site sets no other cookies. After you send the quote form, your browser holds a one-time marker in temporary session storage so we can count the submission. It is cleared when you close the tab. The page fonts are served from this site, not from Google.
You can stop Google Analytics by blocking cookies or scripts in your browser, by using a content blocker, or by installing Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works the same either way.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. For any privacy question, email quotes@carefulcleanouts.com or call (610) 350-9242. This site is meant for customers in Pennsylvania and nearby. It is not directed at children. The site, including the quote form, is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
